About Us:
DREAM Iowa is driven by the recognition that immigrants are the catalyst for social, economic, and cultural growth. If immigrants succeed, our society prospers. DREAM Iowa offers the tools and resources that increase knowledge, attitudes, and skills, so that families understand and select services that will produce sustainable financial outcomes.
At DREAM Iowa, we envision a state where immigrant families from diverse ethnic backgrounds have access to opportunities for growth. Our work is possible due to our alliances with friends, donors, sponsors, community organizations, and immigrants that participate in our programs.
We manifest our vision through our services centered around wealth development for immigrant Iowans. DREAM Iowa connects students to resources through our annual Youth Leadership Summit, which unites immigrants from across the state once a year to empower with knowledge, skill development, civic engagement, and strategy for growth. This is fortified through scholarships provided to immigrant students pursuing higher education. In order to build sustainable outcomes, we intentionally extend culturally competent financial independence workshops to underserved communities across the state. Along the way, we document the history of the current generation of immigrant Iowans to highlight our contributions to society.
